My class trip to Berlin

Hey guys!

Welcome back to my blog! In this article I want to tell you about my recent class trip to Berlin.

The journey beginns

My trip began with me waking up at 7 am. I got ready, packed my last stuff and bought myself some bakery to eat on the bus ride. As always, I ended up late but luckily, I made it perfectly so I could put my bag into the bus and get in.

The bus ride

After the teachers and the driver greeted us and made sure nobody was missing, the bus ride began. Apart from our Teacher forgetting her phone at our first stop and us having to drive back to get it, the ride was quite boring. There were two classes on our trip, therefore the Mcdonalds at our second stop was extremely overwhelmed with all of us ordering at the same time, but after a bit more bus ride and a small singing session, we were finally there.

Our first day in Berlin

We were all excited to see the rooms of our ★★★★ Hotel. The Teachers announced the rules of the trip. After that, we all received our keycards and could eventually see our rooms.

About an hour later we met up again and took the S-Bahn to a memorial for murdered Jews in Europe. It was breathtaking and also overwhelming to see all these stones and feel the tightness.

After that, we got to a museum called “Topographie des Terrors”. It's located at the site where the headquarter of the SS was. The museum documents the crimes committed by the Nazis. There even was an Audio-guide, that we could hear while going through and seeing all the pictures. But since my class has an excellent history teacher, we already knew a lot of it.

For now, that's all. Stay tuned and I will see you next time!
